BioThis is to help me, and if you are reading this, I hope it will help you too.
For more than a year I was in an abusive relationship, with someone who, knowing what I do now, most likely suffered from Narcissistic Personality Disorder. This lead to a nervous breakdown and eventual suicide attempt.
I survived.
All things considered, I think I held my life together remarkably well for that year, and resisted losing too much of myself in the process. I'm either strong, or lucky. I think I'm lucky.
It's been nearly a year, and I've only started really being able to deal with the relationship and its after-effects in the last few months. This journal is part of the dealing. Anecdotes, artwork, whatever nonsense issues forth from my brain, will be posted here. If you have been in an abusive relationship, maybe something here will give you some comfort.
